Jan Lisiecki enlisted the help of TX technology to bring a new digital twist to the orchestration of an updated version of the ‘Bristol Proms’, honouring the original Bristol Proms staged at Bristol Old Vic in the 1840’s.
On Monday 29th July, the 18-year-old piano virtuoso, Jan Lisiecki, found himself surrounded by a host of HD remote-control Bradley PTZ cameras, a virtual reality camera (Microsoft Kinect) and various slow-motion cameras. The whole system provided an incredible visual background that complimented Jan’s masterful renditions of Chopin. The presentation included slow-motion video of the keys being struck, water glasses vibrating and massive wireframe models projected above the piano.
